Video Creation
Have you ever wanted to make a video just for fun but weren?t sure where to get started? Or maybe you already have a YouTube channel, but are at a loss as to how to make it any better. Either way, this class is for you! In this hands-on class students will learn to wield a steady-cam on a well-lit set, pick up some theory on what makes a good video, and produce well-edited videos for their own YouTube channels. During this project-based learning class you will have all the tools necessary to bring your vision onto the screen.
Your Teacher -?Kurtis Baute
Kurtis grew up on a farm in Ontario, building model rockets and catching frogs. His biology undergraduate degree at Wilfrid Laurier University consisted of equal academic portions of Arts and Science. Now he is finishing a Masters of Science through the University of Guelph, researching bioenergy. Super serious about making science fun, Kurtis has run university biology labs, has worked at Science World, and has literally sung about science to thousands on YouTube. He is excited about the small class sizes at BrainBoost, where he?ll be teaching robotics and science exploration. On his ever-evolving list of interests you can currently find: hiking and cycling, reading and writing sci-fi, playing guitar, and practising German.
