This course busts the myth that Canadian history isn?t exciting – the story of our country is fascinating! ?You?ll work with Jana to dive deep into the many perspectives of our history and make your own conclusions. But wait – socials isn?t only about the past! Each week will feature a Tuesday Talk on a current event affecting our present-day lives. Students will start to see how decisions of the past influence our present. The course is project based, and students can expect to write essays, create videos, dive into reenactments of the past, and much more.
