Robotics and Programming Lab

Bring your automated ideas to life as you build and code a robot using a variety of  sensors, receivers, and motors. Controlled through an easy to use coding language, get your robot to navigate obstacle courses, follow light trails, and  solve mazes in this fun and exciting after school class. With the opportunity to custom building components using our 3D printer, the possibilities are endless! No experience necessary.

Your Educator – Manveen Kaur

Manveen holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computational Mathematics. She is an energetic and empathetic Math educator with previous experience tutoring kids of all grade levels. Manveen also volunteered at her University library where she taught Math to first and second year college students. Manveen’s main focus when teaching is encouraging her students and motivating them to be their best selves. One of her favourite quotes is “Nine-Tenths of education is encouragement” by Anatole France and she translates that belief into her practice.

Manveen spends her free time reading novels and writing poems. She aims to be a positive influence in her students’ lives and use her knowledge to support students reach their goals.
