Ravi Lochan

A graduate of Simon Fraser University with a French Major, Ravi Lochan has pursued a career in language education focussing on how it can influence and even create a person’s perception of the world around them throughout history, using channels such as rhetoric, poetry, music, literature and media. His lessons emphasize the importance of thinking beyond the classroom and believes the best way to learn is through experience, such as travelling. His teaching experience includes, tutoring French, English and math in Canada as well as two years teaching English and humanities in the French countryside. He also travelled across Spain, volunteered in Guatemala and visited Monaco, Cuba, the Dominican Republic and Mexico. When he’s not travelling or talking about astrophysics or worldly and historical events you can find him hiking in the mountains, bouldering or reading and enjoying a cup of coffee.
