Psychology 11
Psychology 11 will be an exploration of minds and brains, behaviors and emotions, and how to understand the difference between labels and experiences. Through an exciting and dynamic engagement with popular culture, contemporary science and self-reflection, students will interrogate their own intuitions about psychological phenomena and test them against data from fun and engaging in-class experiments. Students can expect to leave Psychology 11 with a deeper and more sophisticated understanding of the mind and it’s place in our lives and the world. ?Sample topics will include facial recognition, memory, consciousness and the relationship between the mind and body.
