Psychology 11

Have you ever wondered why people have different personalities? What is intelligence and how is it measured? Why is one person attracted to another? Why do people dream and what do those dreams mean? Psychology 11 addresses the questions above and introduces some history of psychological thought and theories of motivation. You will also discuss emotions, personalities, human development, learning theory and social psychology.

Rhonda knows how get you through the hard stuff ? the hard sciences! She has thirteen years of teaching experience, including working with the West Vancouver School District, tutoring students with various learning difficulties. She specializes in Math and Biology 6-12, Chemistry 8-11, and Science 10. Her educational background is a Bachelor in Science (Psychology) and she has completed comprehensive workshops in the Montessori educational approach. Rhonda is guided by the Montessori approach because she appreciates how it lets students explore their interests through hands-on learning. When she?s not busy blowing your mind, or blowing up things in chemistry, Rhonda enjoys spending time with her husband and daughter. The happiest you?ll find Rhonda is in the middle of a Venn diagram, between rollercoasters and the beach.
