There?s far more to the art of language than ancient books and dry grammar worksheets! Join us for an English course that?s truly different: full of modern media and concerned with the themes that are affecting young people today. Students can expect to read and synthesize a variety of media – from novels and plays to Facebook rants and graphic novels. Each student has a personal blog where they post their writing, and link to what they?re finding interesting. In addition to their blogging work, students will master the essay, create a poetry anthology, and make their own graphic media.
