Andrea was born in Montreal and raised in Ottawa before relocating to Vancouver in 2015. She studied Psychology at UBC and was also fortunate enough to study abroad for one year in Berlin, Germany. Through her university courses, travels, volunteer work, and research experience, Andrea discovered her passion for educational psychology. She now seeks to empower others to find the joy in learning – whatever their learning interests may be. 

Andrea has always said that if she could be a student forever, she would be! In light of this, she plans to continue her studies in the coming years. Andrea is primarily interested in the intersection of human development, learning, and culture, and hopes to focus her future research on these issues. When she is not working or studying, she enjoys trail walks, language learning, good food, great friends, and attempting to keep her houseplants alive.
